Questions we get asked first
Our members have low smartphone penetration. Does that block this?
No. Capture is done by trained field staff and FPO officers on the app; members do not need devices. Farmer-facing outputs are printed receipts and messages.
Who owns the member data?
The FPO does. Consent is recorded per member with purpose and withdrawal supported, and data is exportable in open formats at any time.
Is carbon income realistic for our size?
Fixed MRV costs do not scale down, so small standalone projects rarely clear the cost per tonne. Aggregating several FPOs or districts onto shared infrastructure is usually what makes participation viable.
